As an independent, no-kill animal shelter, PAWS is completely reliant on the kindness of our donors and support of the community. We receive no government funding to care for these animals and are grateful to be in the business of saving lives. We take great pride in being good stewards of our donated dollars. Your donation will provide care for homeless dogs and cats many times over. PAWS is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Want to be a PAWS Guardian?
Animal Sponsorships are a fun way to get families, groups, and children involved in philanthropy. You choose an animal and make a donation to support its care at PAWS. You can even spend time with the animal! This helps the animals become better prepared for adoption, and you will love your time with them.
- Monthly Recurring Donations are a foundation of our Guardians program. These donations can be set up online here and will come to PAWS each month, automatically. They truly are a simple way to give continuously!
- Corporate Sponsorships come in many shapes and sizes. If your company would like to “adopt” PAWS for a year, a quarter, or even a day, we can make sure that everyone will enjoy their participation. We can arrange a corporate match between employees and your company, mobile visits with our animals, and volunteer days at the shelter. We love our corporate sponsors and are grateful for the generosity right in our own back yard.
- Memorial Donations are accepted any time at PAWS and we encourage donors to purchase bricks for our Memorial Garden on the facility grounds. Bricks can be personalized to suit your needs. Please see us at PAWS, or our website, to purchase a brick in your loved one’s honor.
- In Kind Giving is so popular with youth groups! We have an online Wish List – our needs vary from laundry soap to paper towels to cleaning supplies and everything in between. In-Kind Giving is a great way for a group to gather items, a child to donate their birthday dollars, or a lemonade stand’s funds to go to good use!
- Annual Donations & Endowments are greatly appreciated and help us plan ahead for the next year’s expenses. If you’ve given an annual donation in the past, please tell your friends! We’ve found that animal lovers stick together. This comes in the form of support too!
- Planned Giving & Animal Bequests
provide the biggest impacts of all. With the Guardians Program, you can plan an estate gift to PAWS that will continue to provide for the animals. Our Animal Bequest Program involves an estate gift, in exchange for us taking in the donor’s animals at the time of the owner’s passing. Knowing that their animals will be taken care of and loved is worth its weight in gold. Talk about peace of mind!
