The PAWS Adoption Center is excited to you to PAWS-A-PALOOZA 2026, taking place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Monroe Community Park, 500 S. Main St, Monroe, Ohio.

PAWS-A-PALOOZA is our fundraiser and animal awareness event that brings together animal lovers, families, local businesses, and rescue organizations for an afternoon of entertainment, education, and community support, all to benefit homeless dogs and cats in need.

Visitors can enjoy an exciting lineup of activities throughout the day, including the crowd-favorite Wiener Dog Races, a thrilling Police K-9 Unit demonstration, and fun competitions for pets and their people. Dogs can show off their style in the Best Costume Contest, while owners and their furry companions can compete in the Pet & Owner Look-A-Like Contest for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights.

Guests can also browse a variety of unique craft and pet-related vendors, meet local rescue organizations and animal care professionals, learn about responsible pet ownership, and meet adoptable animals looking for loving homes.

When it’s time for a bite to eat, attendees can enjoy delicious offerings from local food vendors, including Chester’s Pizza, SleepyHeads Coffee, and Jolly Treats, making PAWS-A-PALOOZA a fun-filled event for the entire family.

Well-behaved, leashed pets are encouraged to attend and participate in the festivities alongside their families.

In addition to enjoying the day’s activities, community members can support PAWS by volunteering, becoming a sponsor, or shopping with event vendors. Every dollar raised helps provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and adoption services for the animals at PAWS Adoption Center.
