Ellie Mae

Sweet Ellie Mae has been part of our house for less than a week, but has made fast friends. The kids love her, and the feeling is very mutual. She has two favorite spots in the house to lay...the corner of the couch and Audrey's bed (she is our five year old).

Dexter is always eating (his favorite is animal crackers) and Ellie quickly has learned if she follows him, he "shares" his crackers.

She really is a sweet heart, and not sure how we got so lucky, but she seems like an "old part of the family."

Our other dog Sam likes her, they enjoy playing in the back yard together. She definitely "wears the pants" in their relationship!

Tyler...now called Grits...had a fabulous weekend. When he first met my girl beagle Gravy, both were a bit shy. Gravy is a bit jealous, but getting over it as I am being sure to show her a lot of attention...

Grits and Gravy have become good buddies real fast, and both sleep with me at night. Grits is learning about going outside to potty, and that chewing on things gets a sharp "No", and a little rap on the nose. He is a fast learner...

He seams to be a very happy little dog, and is getting Gravy to exercise a little. Here they are playfully chewing on each other.
